5 Ingenious things you should know about Simba Hybrid® Essential:

It’s simple really: we’d love to help you sleep soundly and comfortably, so we use all the latest engineering and technology to do so. So have a read about all our unique and patented innovations; at the very least, your new scientific knowledge will impress your friends…

1/ A double stack of our springs

For twice the comfort, twice the airflow

It’s not rocket science (that’s where the titanium comes in), but we worked out that if we introduced two layers of our titanium Aerocoil® springs we’d achieve a double helping of Simba benefits: full and total body support, increased airflow in the comfort layers and absolutely no sleep disturbance when your partner shifts and turns. That’s why the Hybrid Pro incorporates up to 5,000 titanium micro-cones of comfort, 2,500 across each layer; the top layer provides initial soft comfort, progressing to more gradual support from the second layer. It’s a double act that’s not to be missed.

2/ The fresh feel of foam

For pitch perfect temperature control

Our Simbatex foam is an ‘open cell’ foam, with thirty times the airflow of memory foam; our sleep engineers have also infused it with graphite, a natural mineral which draws heat away from the body. This innovative foam is combined with the increased airflow offered by the doubled up Aerocoil® spring layers, and topped off by a layer of natural wool which works, together with our breathable sleep surface, to keep you warm or cool, depending on the season.
So you won’t be too hot. Or too cold. You'll be just right.

3/ Seven layers of engineered comfort

This is second generation, cutting edge technology, for sure. But more importantly it’s also how we can help you experience a deep, restful, and restorative sleep.

4/ Tested & trusted CertiPUR® foam

Better for you, better for your home

PRO-PLANET CERTIPUR®VERIFIED

All the foam we use in our mattresses is CertiPUR® recognised, meaning both the materials it contains and the emissions it releases have been independently and rigorously assessed; CertiPUR® foam is verified as free from CFCs and other ozone depleting substances, and ensures lower emissions to protect indoor air quality.

In addition, you can rest easy knowing that all CertiPUR® foam is free from added phthalates and harmful metals such as mercury or lead, and includes safe, non-toxic levels of fire retardants.

5/ Engineering new ways to cut waste

For Simba, protecting the planet is as important as restful sleep. We’ve used our expertise to reduce our use of energy and materials, and all our mattresses are 100% recyclable. To prove the point, we’re proud to tell you that any old Simba mattresses returned to us are refurbished or recycled; they never go near a landfill site. Ever. On top of that, all our mattresses are made here in the UK so unlike other brands they don’t have a long journey to make it to you, and all our packaging is up to 60% recycled, from approved FSC sources. We’ve even worked out that we can use any excess foam in things like carpet underlay or pet beds rather than letting it go to waste. We reckon that’s not half bad for a bunch of sleep experts like us.
